Video Interpreter (ASL/English)
Summary of duties
Qualified Interpreters need to be fluent in comprehensive (receptive) and expressive skills in ASL as well as in Signed English. The interpreters will be providing a telephone interpreting service through Video Relay Service. Our call center is located in greater bay area in Northern California.
Provide interpreting services according to Convo's mission and values which is to provide telephone interpreting service for the deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing persons that are organic in nature.
Duties and responsibilities include
Provide interpreting services according to Convo’s mission and values.
* Arrive to shifts and assignments on time and prepared for work.
* Exhibit ethical and professional approach to work at all times.
* Adhere to FCC regulations pertaining to VRS.
* Adhere to Convo center policies and procedures.
Salary
Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
